With little over a year in the spotlight polarizing rapper Xxxtentacion has passed away. Shot and killed in Florida in what seems to be a broad daylight robbery the troubled 20 year old rap star’s career comes to an abrupt end. Controversy over his alleged domestic abuse crimes and impending case overshadowed and strangely enough kick started his rocky career.
X, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, never was sentenced for his horrific crimes and never got to right his wrongs or face his actual punishment, he had a promising career and even if you slightly followed his social media accounts you could see he was constantly trying to turn his troubled life around.
In a brief period of time he did achieve his goals of success, having billboard charting singles and albums and reaching millions of kids who found solace in the art of this tortured soul.
Below we have his first interview after being released from jail in March of 2017, though sprinkled with controversy a startlingly image of X as a thoughtful, introspective, charismatic kid is loosely brought into focus.
