The educator and innovator takes his creativity from solely audio to the avant-garde performance. Kicking off the #NoStageTour Bert G stated “I didn’t have a platform so I created my own platform” in the next few months he’ll be performing in 7 non-traditional places.

The educator who returned to rap in his 30’s after leaving Hip-Hop for a decade takes his motivational speaking skills to a meta level while schooling artists on how to build a fan base and force the spotlight onto oneself. Bert blends his music passion with years of experience as a Boys & Girls Clubs Director, middle school teacher and motivational speaker, who’s spoken to over 60,000 students. After already performing at a subway station with a Cellist Carlos Cooper, some other spots will include a Bodega, BKYLN CREPE Juice Bar which will cap off the entire tour as part of the Make Music NYC’s Music Festival on June 21st.
With a message in his music Bert G is on a mission to impact the hearts and minds of the listeners, to be the first educator to win the best Rap Song Grammy. With a history of working with brands to make an difference and working as an After School Director for Children of Promise he partnered with the Brooklyn Nets and Kaboom! to help build a playground for 150 children with incarcerated parents.
