Today, 53 years ago, Bob Dylan and The Band member, Robbie Robertson were filmed together in a hotel room in Glasgow, Scotland, singing together. This event took place during Dylan’s world tour and the footage eventually turned up in the ‘Eat The Document’ film. Originally edited by Dylan himself and commissioned for ABC’s ‘Stage ’66’, the network rejected the footage due to it being ‘incomprehensible for a mainstream audience’. Note that the video footage has been wrongfully titled “BOB DYLAN LIVE JAMMING IN A FANS BEDROOM 1966” when it is, in fact, footage from the event taking place in Glasgow.
